Okay, I completely understand that. I know what it is like to just wish your gun would work for one stupid game! Then I would invest in a G&P M4. $260 is way less than what these things are worth. You'll be much less likely to have problems with that.

True, that pretty much made me not want one... I'm really leaning towards an Echo-1 though. I used to own one and it was a pretty reliable rifle, but does anybody have an in depth review on the Combat Machine?

GET A bleeding DBOYS M4. WHY SPEND MONEY ON A PLASTIC GUN WHEN FOR THE SAME PRICE YOU CAN GET A METAL GUN?

If you want a plastic gun, buy an FN2000. If a gun is supposed to be metal, than buy it in metal.

A Dboys M4 can be had for $165. If you think that is spending a ton of money on an airsoft gun, you don't know jack shit.

The G&G Combat machines are $20 less, and the ASGI customs are $40 more. Really, a metal body is better than a plastic body on an M4 platform any day of the week.

You're making a bigger deal about the metal body than needed... The polymer on the G&G CM's are fine. And OP, the ASGI G4's are G&G combat machines.

...I'm not buying from Evike, I can tell you that right now. I'll just take a trip to AONW and check out the CM externals, and compare them with the E1 externals.

I like my ARES M4. The gearbox is kind of weird and it has clockwise barrel threading but I love it to pieces ;)

And it only takes real steel stocks.

Not a bad thing when a CTR stock costs less then if bought from a retailer as a replica.
