I totally agree with you when it comes to the LiPo batteries, a regular 9.6v is all you need in this gun. But it's nice knowing that it has the strength and durability to use a LiPo because it will last just that much longer with a normal battery.
Some people have expressed concerns in other forums about the durability of the trigger switch when running LiPo. KWA upgraded the trigger switch and fuse when they built the gun to be able to handle the increased current flow.
My big concern with KWA is the fps. does anyone know if it's adjustable? It would be nice to be able to...turn it down.

There are several parts you could replace in a KWA AEG to make it more reliable. Mine have lots of problems. The biggest is finding parts that fit it perfectly that aren't KWA... The trigger switch shouldn't be under any extra stress when shooting with a lipo battery over a standard one. All guns are lipo ready anyways... And lots of factors change the FPS, but you're looking to downgrade the spring.

Big_Red wrote:yeah That's what Variable said to me earlier. We were discussing replicas with oversized spring guides, he mentioned KWA. The new CA X series has an extra wide spring guide, at least the ones I've tinkered with, so if you want to swap springs you might have to swap spring guides too.

Great contribution.
Yes, G&G's are decent, but I think CA and KWA are both better than G&Gs.

Agreed. I know of 1 G&G M4 that locks up the gearbox like crazy. It has been looked at by 3 airsmiths (I think), and it still will do it.
For me CA>KWA. I've had no issues with my CA (other then the previous owner being a dumbass, but thats not CA's fault). I do know of 3 KWA M4's that have come out of the box with fractured hop ups and torn buckings. There were brand new KWA's.
I think that KWA has great potential, but they are still to young to be 100% trustworthy. Mind you I don't even think that CA is 100% trustworthy, but they are moreso then CA. However, like has been said, if you like the KWA, get the KWA. If you like the CA, get the CA.
