Anyway...

The choice between using G36 mags versus using the M4 magwell with STANAG mags is one of esthetics. G36 mags function as well as M4 mags. G36 mags will be bulkier to store in pouches. M4 mags have a slimmer form factor and more pouch options as these are the most common type of magazines (ie ALICE mag pouches). The look of having G36 mags versus STANAG mags is one of personal preference.

I use the Private Parts M4 magwell on my SL8 and I love it. Choose what you like and go with it.

It's not worth it. It may be $35 but all it is is a cheap (and I mean CHEAP) plastic shell, junky motor, and bad wiring. Just buy some MAG midcaps, they will do you much better in the long run.
