Side note on the fps thing,

Isn't part of the reason there is also such an FPS difference is because we [the community] want to make DMRs/ sniper their own roles?

If we had DMRs shooting 550, every one would use them. Its like Rock Paper Scissors. Every thing needs a draw back or weakness. For DMRS its increased fire rate means decreased range and speed of projectile.

Or am I totally off and this is all an insurance thing?

It's a combination of player safety, insurance rules, and difference in classes.

I've seen a .30g limit on AEG bb weight crop up on Riddick's games too, seperating the classes a bit more (Although maybe for a different reason I think).

I think Matt change the FPS limits a while back. So as it has been posted, anyone who says at their games allow AP rules should allow the semi auto DMR platform at 475 FPS.

Back on topic I always liked the look of this SR-25

I started the project with a CA URX, however the MAGPUL SR 25 mags don't fit well without modification.

Funny, with my AR-10 (which is the same, it uses the same mags and the magwell is about the same) I just did 10 minutes with a Dremel, and it works great.

Call the surgeons and tell them to take the day off, because I'll be doing all the operating now.

There's a point where this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it

Like I said the mags don't fit well without modification.

It would be nice if they just worked without modification, like they do in G&P and G&G SR 25's

That has to do with BIO availability in higher weights and letting snipers be an exception. Has nothing to do with AEG's at Rick's games, really.

That is why I said it likely for a different reason,
still the text should probably be altered to allow for bio bb's of any weight in AEGs.

There is heavier bio available (for a price).
