Now that we are, once again, all on the same page, we can table the discussion for another few months until the next time it comes up. And it will, it always does.

Ditto...now that my MG-36-Conversation cherry has been popped...is there a merit badge or something?

You can use a box mag on your G36.

IIRC, Duc didn't have a G-36. Duc had a MG-36. Bull barrel, modified stock, full deal conversion. If you put Duc's MG-36 next to a G-36, you could tell them apart pretty easily. Yes, it started as a G-36, but he did the proper conversion.

Oh, and this has happened before:

http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=34459&highlight=mg36
http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=33586&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=mg36&start=30
http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=27730&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=mg36&start=15
http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=27133&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=mg36&start=15
http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=21664&highlight=mg36

And that's just a quick glance through the search function. I'd say somebody should write up a sticky, but it wouldn't help.

Some pretty good info buried in there. Apparently, CA made a bull barrel that worked pretty well for doing a MG-36 conversion.
