M14 trigger part trouble

Postby PanzerFaust » Fri Feb 05, 2010 9:24 pm

So I've got this AGM M14 that's in need of some help. The owner managed to break the part that actuates the trigger switch, specifically the post that the trigger engages has snapped off turning this kid's gun into a paperweight. I've searched asgi, wgcshop, airsoftpost, ehobby for a replacement and come up with exactly zilch. I really don't want to have to tell this guy he needs to buy an entire replacement gearbox for his gun. I'm hoping one of AP's gurus can nail down a replacement for this thing. The part in question:

I'm not entirely sure what to call it either. trigger switch cam? little fuckin do-hicky?

I've got nothing, other than a suggestion of finding a fabricator. How is it broken?

There's supposed to be a post on the square corner of the LFDH that fits into the trigger. You can see what it's supposed to look like in this break down:

I may have an extra one from my old M14 project.

Panzerfaust, you can get that part from Airsoft Outlet NW. I didn't see it on the site just now, but they do have them. Call em up and have them send you one.

Have you looked at Evike.com? They might have what you need.

Tried Evike and they had a full replacement gearbox for a decent price, but not that specific part.
