[The n00b mag/C mag] Hero Arms G3 3000 Rd Drum Mag

Postby Chairmanlao » Tue Feb 16, 2010 10:14 pm

Hey there Ap.

I'll be playing in some very unoffical (clearly if we are able to use this mag) but its just some games a few friends are throwing together so no mag restriction. =)

This C-Mag for the G3 I got a few questions, and I would love your input if this is "worth it".

1. I'm guessing this works with the Jg G3

2. Any problems people know of this?

Please, no thread crap.
Would love your input on this "cheetah" mag. =)
Thanks.

My personal input is buy at least Mid caps, you learn a lot more with that kind of limits.

Just my input.

Yes, however NOT for this game. =)

Like for an AP game oh def I will be using Mid caps or low caps. [NO high caps or C mags or what not]
But if my friends and I (no, its not those "backyard airsoft wars"). I rather just use this mag...but I need to know if it works well....

Why on earth you're dropping 70 bucks on a magazine you can only use with your budz and backyarrdd warzzz is beside me, but yeah, it should work with your G3.

You could spend $20 more and get 1300 rounds capacity that you can use with your friends and with us, neatly packaged in ten MAG brand G3 magazines.

While I also suggest you invest in mid-caps aswell, I once owned a Hero Arms drum mag, and let me tell you, they rock. They feed really reliably, (I think out of 3 yrs having it, it only jammed once, and that was largely the guns fault.) The only down-side is mine wasn't sound activated, and its massivly cumbersome. Now, I had mine on a M249 so I needed the sustained fire capability, so again I suggest you just get a few 500rnd mags, but if you do get a drum, Hero Arms are my personal favorite.

I have a G3 C-Mag, (In my defense I was going to make my G3 into the um HK53 belt fed G3 variant when I got it) and you are better off with 2 or 3 high caps (if you are that spray happy). If you need that much ammo, you need help. You need trigger control. Maybe upgrades in the gun to make it more accurate. Just my two cents. I've never even fielded my C-mag, and I spent way too much on it (over 100 from red Wolf).

Haha you should sell me yours for cheap then.
But, yeah I like the look (please don't flame me) but I already have 2 high caps and a few mids. I'm good. =)
Like the real question is why drop 70.00 on this thing.

Thanks for the help ya.
