Disassembly of my M4

Postby Minerva » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:09 pm

I have a bit of a problem. I have this M4 which is modified to have no stock and pretty much no barrel. While this is fine and all for CQC (which i rarely do) i would like to attach a 3 point stock and perhaps a longer barrel. The only problems are that

A: The end of my barrel is covered in this short free floating rail and i have no idea how to get it off there since i have my gun wired to a peq box. (what i mean is i have a wire running through my guns hand guard)

B: I have this little nub in the place of my stock and it appears to have no pin or screws or anything to take it off..It is immensely frustrating.

Anyone who can help me with this? I would be really grateful. :D

Edit: Sorry if this is stupid to ask but i just received this gun a week ago.

I will try to get pictures up sometime this week. I think i may have figured out how to get my free floating rail off but i dont want to try unless im sure. I was almost fed up to the point of spending another 200-300 on a field gun but i would rather take the time to have a field/indoor hybrid.

Whoever you bought it from might have stuffed some JB weld into the back.

Just going off what you said. If it's all pins and screws, then go to town undoing them.
