Charging handles and etc...

Postby CCCman » Wed Nov 17, 2010 6:53 pm

OK, so i remade this topic from mock bolts to external accessories. I was in need of a charging handle, a bolt catch, and a selector switch as well. So, i noticed that they were a bit pricey. I then saw a king arms set that comes with a everything i needed and then some. In the description it said it was made of zinc ally. Is zinc alloy strong? How well does sit stand against rust? I do like to rack my charging handle a lot so i need something sturdy.

there is no actual purpose for a bolt or a charging handle. By the way, what brand is your M4?

As for my comment id rather go with ICS and for the one above this one, its a joke. Your probably new around here so here are the rules

1. People make jokes, some are funny some may be offensive, ignore both
2. Even if older people make a rude comment or you get in a fight, careful what you say, go look at the Open fourm for some examples of what happens
3. Pretty much respect everyone

When did AEGs get bolts? I've seen the cosmetic covers to hide the hop-up adjustment before. Did I miss a meeting?

Dont call it a bolt what you are talking about is a bolt carrier group. Aeg's dont use bolt carrier groups. AEG's have a gearbox which houses everything that makes your m4 go pew pew pew. A GBB uses a bolt carrier group. Dont worry someone is going to come along and clarify my post just a little bit more for you.
