Lipo Battery Best fit for certain guns

Postby Tactical Church » Tue Nov 23, 2010 11:14 pm

Hey so i got a couple guns i want to put lipos in but i dont know which lipo battery would work for my guns.
all my guns have small connectors or deans connectors. The places i am hoping to fit a lipo are in a crane stock, handgaurd, full stock.
any suggestions?

Full stock of what gun? A friend of mine a while back managed to shove a 5000mAh 11.1v 20C Lipo into an m16 full stock. I swear, he never charged it the entire summer he used it!

What about the handguard and crane stock? I got two words for you: Three. Piece.

The firefox blue 3 piece should fit in the handguard and some crane stocks. You might need one of the solid cell Li-ion batteries for the crane stock if it is a KWA type one. Most lipo's will fit in a full stock. All of this is assuming you're talking about an M4.

I am talking about M4. the handgaurd is for a CA M4 carbine. The crane stock is for a M4 G&G and the full stock is G&P SR-25

CA M4: http://www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com/pr ... ck-2n.aspx
G&G M4: You have two choices you could either just get a stick lipo and stick it in you buffer tube. http://www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com/pr ... -pack.aspx
Or a actual nunchuck. http://www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com/pr ... ck-3n.aspx
CA SR-25: Throw the biggest battery you can find in there. http://www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com/pr ... po-3n.aspx

Just my .02 take it or leave it.

I'd recommend going to a different place than the sites that Windstalker linked to... They charge a lot more than you need to pay. Try hobbyking/Hobby city.

You don't necessarily need an 11.1v or 3 cell lipo either. A 2 cell, or 7.4v, is going to still give you just as good and actually a bit better performance than a 9.6v nimh and be a lot safer and cheaper.
