[MAGAZINES] DRUM MAGS

Postby 9Mil » Fri Dec 24, 2010 3:13 pm

Hi, sorry if repost, but spent the whole day looking for and haven´t found the answers to my questions.
Well I own a JG HK416D, an awesome gun in mho, and for a while I´ve been looking for a Drum Mag for my gun.
There´s just a problem, here in Brazil we have a MAG rule that says riflemans can only use midcap magazines.
So, I´ve heard of Drum Mag thats holds about 400 bbs in a mid cap style, loaded trough a speedloader and doesn´t have that anoying rattle.
Does anyone heard of this type of mag? I´m not able to find it again.
Thanks
9Mil

No, I haven't. Just rock some regular midcaps.

I would run mid-caps. You learn that midcaps are way better than any other drum rounders.

I have, but honestly, just get midcaps instead. It would be just as easy to use two hicaps clamped together than that "drum mag".

Buy a drum mag and put the guts of a midcap in it.

Hehe, i think the part that they laugh so much about, is when he whips out the speedloader. heh.

Sorry if I made myself unclear, but I already use MIDCAPS only, and I´m the biggest defender o MidCaps, but I wanted the C-Mag just for the looks long side with MIDCAP like capability.
Like the Jewish Ninja idea tought!

Maybe he's trying to build an M27 IAR. ;)

The RIS and barrel aren't long enough to be an M27...

Despite the conceptual arguiment of should or shouldn't use the C-Mag, does anyone know about the "midcap C-Mag"?

You could look up how to do vacuum molding and make a c-mag shell for a midcap. I'm sure it would be cheaper than gutting a high cap style c-mag. And you could replace it if you ever broke it (or wanted to make more).
