G&G gr-15 blow back question

Postby TheShadow » Tue Jan 25, 2011 2:13 pm

I have been having issues removing the clip that holds the upper part of the gearbox and cylinder and piston for the blowback in place. Any of the tech's out there know any tricks to loosen this stubborn clip with out doing any damage to the gearbox or the clip? I have already tried putting a screwdriver in the notch and hitting it with a hammer to no effect I just started damaging the clip doing so.

Mine was stubborn I had to bang on it with a mallet and a screw driver. You could tighten the mechbox screws and see if it will come off

just get a thin and small flat head and place it on the lip of the bracket and smack it off with a mallet. might take a few hits.
