Quick KWA question

I have been looking on some of the airsoft retail stores, and noticed that KWA made the m16 into its newer version, the 2gx if I remember correctly. I saw this on Airsoftgi, with the newer body.

On other sites I noticed that they still sell the old KWA m16.

Just wondering if they just haven't updated their pictures on the website or what?

I believe you're confusing a few things. The "2gx" is about changes they did internally--things like adding reinforcing to the gearbox, tweaking the hopup, and a bunch of other stuff. See kwausa.com's forums for a complete list.

The "new body"--if you're talking about the one with rails and so forth--is exactly that--a new body. It's called the SR-12.

You can still buy both.

Ogre, I mean like a newer color body, not that flashy look they normaly came with.

They probably haven't updated it. I'd email them to make sure anyways, unless it's Evike then you probably won't get a response.

i do alot of wholesale orders with evike. They are re-known for not updating pics among various things. However if it's in the title listing then you are good to go. I have seens this scenario many times and it plays out whatever is the title.

It says 2gx, so you will get a 2gx m16 irregardless of photo
