Your go to primary

Postby Redmoney » Wed Feb 09, 2011 11:05 pm

So I figure it would be interesting to see what everybody uses for a go to primary. Also basic upgrades. Might also be a good tool for newbs to see what we use.

My go to just changed because I got a new rifle.

Ta da. I finally created a stinkin' Photobucket. Haha Captcha. I win again.
Yes, there were rules about feet posting. But your dog's toes are acceptable I guess.

Odd as a 3 dollar bill, but I love it for that. Anything that's not an M4 makes people go "what is it?" :D Sorry, I always blab about this thing. It's my love.

Real Sword Type 56
Bone stock

I go for this when I don't feel like dicking with my other guns. And I won't have to worry about it not working ;)

I don't have a picture of its current state (still need to resolder the deans and attach the stock) so here is an old picture of it with some Chinese food.

Condor RRV (Spray painted, was ACU) with x2 double stack AK mag pouches, utility pouch and Radio pouch on Right.

Image

Dboys M4 -

Completely stock. Except for the Cut carry handle. There was no need for the added weight so i cut it off.

Image

Dboys RK 06 -

Modded with Real steel surplus Romy Wood. Hand made gas vent upper.

Internals mods -

Completely re done gear box.

Element 9mm bearing gear box
Element piston (Completely crap, putting a new one in)
Element Gears (Very nice steel)
M110 Spring
RS motor
New tappet plate
Air nozzle with O ring

Very nice trigger response, fast rate of fire, and has seen many deaths from plastic BBs.

Image

Dboys RK 03 - Full steel version

Internal mods -

RS piston
M120 spring
O ring Air nozzle

what came stock:

Nice steel gears
7mm Bearings
9.6v batt

This gun is waiting for its new stock latch in the mail. Its original broke off when i threw the stock into 3 feet of snow for a bit and ripped it out side ways.

Great now it's a toss up between doing a similar build for myself and a new longboard...

Never? ;) I seem to remember a little hicup it had the first time on the field after you got it.

But it is still a Systema. So it's still amazing. 8)

I haven't got a picture of it as I have no camera, but my gun that's been my standby (I pretty much bring it to every game I go to, even if I don't use it) is my TM MP7. It might not shoot hard, but it's accurate and it always, always works.
