CA mids are really nice. I had three, all you need to do is lube them with 100% silicone oil and they feed perfect.

lube in mags=lube on bb's=lube in hop up=hop up being ineffective

Nah, you lube the mags and run BB's through them like three times about a week before you use the gun. Plus, I don't use the hop up. I just shoot.

sounds like something I said once. ;-)

lube in your mags is retarded. Why would you lube a metal spring inside a PLASTIC tube? It's not the spring that would be the issue since normally its smaller than the bb feeder platform.

Loading and unloading your mags a few times supposedly helps clear any possible particles in the tube

Back when I had an AK, I was really happy with the MAG waffle-pattern midcaps. Real sturdy, durable, thick molded plastic. Cheap too.
I'm a "fair weather" airsofter. I only play in the pouring rain, freezing cold, or broiling heat.

I can second having good experiences with MAG mag's. These plastic mags held up better then my metal ones. Personally I like plastic mags over metal

Those mags i bought from you sucked a$$ at feeding, so after LOW i took my can of industrial grade Silicone and sprayed them, ran some BB's in and out of them and let them dry out, they now feed perfectly.

Let's not confuse people. You are referring to the mags "YOU" had me order which are made by AEG -asia electric gun-. You did not buy the ones I carry and recommend which are not made by them and different. How about skipping the part of adding silicone spray and just loading and unloading them a few times. After all if the silicone is DRY, what was the actual benefit then.

I would recommend loading and unloading them about 3-4 times each WITHOUT silicone spray. People on the internet are just using this method as a "break in" to help feeding and apparently its working.

and always unload your mags after every airsoft game. keeping them loaded weakens the spring and can/will cause feeding issues.

but back to the topic.... I would check out google search because from what I found they seem to be "hit or miss"
