New AEG purchase (opinions appreciated)

Postby Odin's Hammer » Fri Apr 15, 2011 4:03 pm

ok so ive been out of the airsoft loop for the past 2 years and im getting back into it again, i still own a few guns but would like to purchase a new M4 variant, i have been looking into this gun http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7654

i have tried to do my own research on this gun, there is surprisingly little info as far as reviews and what not out there (not extremely interested in the two video reviews of what appear to be 12 yr olds in there basement fondling the gun) id just like to hear from anyone who may own it or have first hand knowledge of the build quality and the internals stock, ill upgrade the internals most likely down the road regardless, i just need to familiarize myself with the internals these days, last i knew systema was the good stuff, but i have no clue anymore.

thanks ahead for any info

Nice choice. I'd go with black, but okay.

I have SHS internals in my M249, along with G&P, Classic Army, and an A&K trigger switch. They've all held up wel. If you want to run it high speed, I'd go with SHS; it is what it is designed for. If you want it super tough, go with systema; I always get great results from them. G&P, however, will do both great. So yeah...G&P will be your best bet.

im not 100% dead set on the dark earth, but i do own a ca cqb that is black, and other than the wooden furniture on my ak's they ar both black, just thought it wouldnt hurt to pick up a gun that matches with the terrain here pretty well in S.E. Idaho

I'm pretty sure there aren't any links for them. But Airsoft Outlet NW sells some great quality Lipos, and chargers, for a fraction of the price of most batterys and chargers.

I have no issues running lipos in any of my G&P guns, though the ROF is stupidly high (they come with stock high speed motors).

I'd leave it stock till something explodes.
