As a rule G&P models are pretty nice.
Keep in mind that shipping may make it cost the same as if you were to buy it in the States, as opposed to from China.

I would go with a solid yes, but I urge you to consider KWA as well. IN my experience, KWA has amazing internals and good externals, whereas G&P has ok internals, but amazing externals.

I don't consider KWA externals to be "good" of even okay, really.

But, G&P is great.

G&P? YES.
USMC? YES.
GIVE TO ME? PLEASE?

Go for it. The G&P internals I have are still holding up great.

I find the KWA externals on my KWA to be quite nice...may I ask what you dislike about them? Mine is a 2GX, one of the newer ones, and I don't have even the slightest rail, sight, or body wobble. The stock wobbles a little, but I have never seen a collapsing stock, real steel or not, that doesn't wobble a little. And this wobbles less than most.

The G&P's are nice but nothing special. I personally liked my KWA M4 more then I like my G&P M4. Sure the externals are better but I found that my KWA performed a tad bit better then my G&P. Just my experience with both company's.

depends on how recent the M16 was made. my grenadier from a few years ago (along with a huge number of G&P AR rifles) had the AOE all upsidedown up, and shitty gears. my brand new M16 blew a piston in under 5000 rounds, and then ate the gears in another 5,000. i hear they fixed those issues in the newer models, but you would have to make sure you are getting the newer model.

as a sidenote, the grenadier has been running fine ever since the piston and gears were replaced. its not something that should have been required on a $400 rifle though.

The finish felt bad compared to G&P among a lot of other brands, the pistol grips plastic was some of the worst I've ever felt, the top rail wobbled a ton, the RIS was beginning to, the stock wobbled (my VFC crane stock has no wobble whatsoever, it's pretty tough to move), the trademarks are horrible and IMO it'd be better off with a blank receiver if it doesn't have RS trades.

Was it an older generation KWA? The 2GX model I have is literally nothing like that...the pistol grip is great. I can't argue the trademarks thing, apart from saying that trademarks don't matter to me personally. I'm quite fine with KWA's trademarks.
