Project Leonidas

I was looking for a new project gun when I came across this:

I absolutely love the look of this gun, and I wanted to try and replicate it in airsoft form. I already have access to a Classic Army SR-25, but do you think it would even be possible to fit aftermarket M4 parts to the body, specifically the rail system and the silvered barrel? I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, but I've never seen it done before this picture. Is the delta ring/body mounting thread even close to a normal M4? Hoping to get some info from those with SR-25's, if possible.

Oh, no. No, I know the parts I'd need, I just want to know if they'd fit.

Rail System:

Barrel (not silver, but the right length):

It should fit. Most guns are designed to be Marui compatible.

Noveske makes real steel rifles & accessories. They licensed their name to Madbull to produce Airsoft versions.

Since you sent us links to AIRSOFTGI for the parts you want there is a good possibility those parts will fit on an Airsoft gun.

Ok, to clarify for the second time. I know that these parts are for airsoft guns, and therefore (within reason) they should fit on airsoft guns. I am not an idiot; please don't treat me like one. I also know what parts are featured in the pictures. All the specs are on the Noveske website. All I want to know is if M4 aftermarket parts will fit on an SR25 body. I have it on good authority that they will, but I have never tried it before. Has anyone put a rail system designed for an M4 on an SR25? Are their any fit issues I should be aware of? Do the tops of the receiver and the rails line up?

Well, airsoft GI makes that without the silver barrel. I hope the product description will answer a few of your questions.

Actually, they make the EXACT parts you're looking for, and they will fit the CA25.

You want the Noveske 10" Rail system and the new Noveske 12 inch barrel. They make this barrel:

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7918

In a 12.5 inch model like the one on the rifle above. Airsoft Outlet NW can order it for you, and they stock the rail system as well.

The Noveske rail systems will fit the CA25 receiver, as will the 12.5 inch barrel, if you want it exactly like the picture. The upper receiver should line up correctly, as they're intended to be the same height. Manufacturing always leaves some room for error, but they should be the same.

Thanks for the help, Commie. I make take AONW up on that offer. Can't seem to find the silver 12.5" barrel anywhere in the States.

The rifle you have in mind is HAWT. Heard the name before, though.
