Looking for a High Speed (high rps/rpm) gun. Suggestions?

Postby Chairmanlao » Sat Apr 30, 2011 10:12 pm

Hey guys, now yes. In short, this is a "wUt gun sh0UlD m3 g3t??!"
But i'm not just looking for any o gun, i'm looking for one that will be made into a high speed, high rps/rpm gun!

I'd like at least 20rps (easy to do...right?)

Price of the STOCK gun should be under 300.

SMGS
Rifles
Sniper Rifles (wut?!)

Tips, and suggestions are welcomed!

I need to know at least where to look. Typing in "High Speed Airsoft Gun" really don't cut it. =/

Thanks Ap.
Hoping to hear some answers

P.S right now i'm running with a CYMA 1928 tommy gun, 23+ rps.
It doesn't fit my loadout, looking for something new. :p

11.1 25C lipo should do you good. Add a high speed motor set up with a sector chip on the gears and it should feed properly too.

I have an M4 I'll sell you for $100 to start you on your way...

stock g&p m4 and a 11.1 25c should get you really close to 30 or like 27-28. it should all cost under 300 if you get the basic m4 with nothing on it like this http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info ... s_id=28775
unless you already have a m4 were you can just slap some upgrades on it. just my $0.2

I would love one for CQB, just to scare the poop out of people.
It sounds like he's winding a hicap in the second one, which is ridiculous.

But yes.

I don't fully understand what sort of modding they need to do for this, but it's all on the internet.
I also don't know why they're always using Marui P90s.

Here is more stuff on it.

Yeah, M4s are great and all, but a bit too common.
Again, thats why my first high speed project was the 1928 tommy gun.

p90s....hmmm. I'll put it down... but any others?
I know you guys can do better :p

An AK or G36 of any type would work well.

The V3 gearbox is more durable and well suited to high speed setups than the V2, plus, most guns that use V.3 gearboxes are less common.

In the article you posted, they mentioned that the gears were made out of a Chromium Molybdenum steel, a high quality metal used in a lot of professional applications. Here is a set of ultra high quality gears (not dual sector) made out of that steel. Read the description.

G&G Ump? V3, kinda cheap to start.
And since I have pouches for the Tommy Gun, I can reuse them for an Ump.
Thoughts,
other suggestions?

P90
UMP

I have a friend with an ICS Sig 551, and with a 9.6v, it has a really high rate of fire. It could a could starting point. It's more than likely shooting over 20rps with the 9.6, so with an 11.1, I think you'd get something to your liking.

Any G&P AEG will have a high ROF stock, due to the M120 motor and somewhat weak (M100ish, a little weaker) spring.

Ah I was thinking about the UMP, seeing how it is a V3.
And I can recycle the mag pouches (aka not sell them)
I loved my G3, even though it was a JG, G3s are hawt.

I was really thinking about the T97, but its a bit too much. =/
