Are BOYI DBOYs good?

Postby ducksrb24 » Mon May 02, 2011 2:32 pm

I have a BOYI DBOYs M4 and I think it's pretty good, but i dont know if its a recommended gun manufacturer. Is BOYI DBOY a good mil-sim gun manufacturer?
I did put in a better hop up and motor for it.

I have owned multiple, and really liked them. For a budget gun, they are pretty good.

With about $200 of upgrades, and modifications to make the stuff fit, they are great airsoft guns.

Hmm...Three "What gun should I get" topics kind of led me astray there.

Yeah. DBOYs are nice.

To begin with their fine. When you get a hold of extra money upgrade it. Little by little. No need to jump in head first when you dont know how deep the water is right. Relax and take youre time. In the end this is a game. It's no fun if all you do is stress. So relax.

Question: Is it all plastic? When you say "Dboys" on these forums, everyone tends to think "$200, full metal." They also made an LPEG line that was completely crap. If you've got a plastic Dboys M4 that shoots about 150fps, then dump that and go for something else. If you've got a metal one though, you'll be fine as long as you know how to use it. Know your effective range and develop field craft. That will put you farther ahead of the game than simply sinking money into a gun.
