Paint Removal From an AEG

What would have to be done in order to remove all the paint on a gun? After you have actually painted it of course.

also keep in mind, just about anything that will strip paint will also melt or deform plastic and rubber parts.

What thinner or stripper really depends on what paint product was used. Without knowing what was used I would be guessing as to what thinner to use to strip it.

Test what ever thinner or stripper you are going to use on a small part of your plastic first. You don't what to melt your gun.

I've thought about it. I feel like I need to use Krylon paint instead of Rustoleum. I need to learn how to make better precision stecils (for MARPAT) before I try painting my gun again. That, and the P90 upper would be the worst thing to try and paint a complicated pattern on. I will look for paint thinners.

This is what I ended up doing out of frustration after coating it in what was supposed to be OD. I covered it in black and dusted it in dark brown. This was after I tried doing a couple of stripes, of which those were the only two that worked.
