The outer barrel of an AR-15 has two grooves that help keep the front sight post attached and in place with two pins. You can't simply move that forward to use a longer foregrip/rail, unless you take that off.
On my AR, I have a 9" DD rail and a 10.5" outer. The outer barely sticks out past the rail, so I can't use a front sight post.
With the MOE foregrip, you can't use it because by taking off the front sight post, you take off the entire assembly of the front post, including the front ring that helps keep it together.
Second, link that RIS system.
