The Tango Down ECR4 is the exact same gearbox and blowback mechanism as the LWRC models. They don't have 'recoil' per se, but the bolt is heavy enough that it does give the gun a bit of rattle, or feedback.
Quality wise, the LWRC/Tango Down is one of the best series CA makes.
Generally, there's only two things that break: One is the charging handle. This is usually caused by firing the AEG with the charging handle unlatched, or by pressing the bolt stop with the charging handle unlatched. Make sure the charging handle is locked in place before pressing the bolt stop or firing the AEG. The second part is the hook between the piston and the bolt. You can't really prevent this, but AONW has the part if yours ever wears out.
