Hi all!

I've got a Daniel Defense rail (7 in.) coming in the mail, expected this weekend. My questions are these: Who has one (of any type) with on a front wired gun? And, do you use a battery box or is there a battery type that will fit inside the rail?

I have a DD 9.5

I can't think of anything that could fit in the rail let alone that you'd be able to easily get out to charge. You'll have to run a battery box or rewire to the rear. I have a TM PEQ16 which has a middle part to make it a little longer, or you can remove it to make it the same size as the real thing. It stays low enough if you run it on the top it doesn't get in the way of your sights like other boxes i've used.
