CA m24 upgrades

Sorry everyone i know i am a noob. I have been looking around and cant seem to find much upgrades... anyone have an idea where to get some good upgrades from? What parts should i get first?

Yes this is box says 460 fps

Use caution in upgrading it. Just keep the inside of the cylinder lubed w/silicone and you should be in the low 500's.

All of that other stuff is simply tossing money. In stock condition it should shoot fine with 30's or 36's.

will this work for lube on the cylinder? If so can i use in the barrel aswell or should i get oil based silicone?

No. Use pure silicone. White lithium grease is not something you want in the compression stroke of your gun (and ultimately your nozzle, chamber and barrel), and petroleum products will eat your hop-up and seals. Use this: http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GG-AI-ULW-OIL.htm

There is a fix you can do to simply make your piston seal the cylinder better, but it requires some expertise with RTV sealant and gun mechanics.

Hey branden333, if you come to faction wars or some other big game in the future we can compare rifles and I can show you the differences (mine has the stuff Imentioned). A tightbore is always a good way to go and CA does not have the best buckings out there. H-hop nub can be preference but anyone that has ever used one can tell you it makes an improvement.

When you are upgrading to the higher velocity it is also a good idea to retap the receiver and triggermech to a larger diameter screw. The aluminum in the CA is pretty soft and tends to strip.

There are several good upgrades for the CA.....outside of the stuff already mentioned....purchase a V2 piston and a Guarder medium pistonhead.....You get more efficiency out of the V2 than the V3.

Barrel Bushings (soft type) for the inner barrel.

Your mileage may vary but these are the items that I used successfully and consistently.

Seagreen, he has the newest model M24 from CA which already has a much much better setup than the original one.

The screws are already larger in the trigger pack, and the cylinder is much smoother than the original one.

is the M24 compatible with VSR-10 parts? they appear to be the same rifle just TM and CA

No, it is not VSR-10 compatible. It does take some Maruzen M24 or APS2 parts.
