TM VSR trigger problem

Postby shreveswat » Wed Apr 07, 2010 6:17 pm

I have a TM VSR

the sears went bad recently so I decided to get the airsoftgi upgrade pack

1. sear and piston set
2. spring guide
3. piston

I have the gun back together the bolt pulls back, round is chambered, push bolt back. everything is functioning right.... unit I go to pull the trigger.

I pull the trigger and there is a pull to it but nothing happens. Why is this?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Check the trigger assembly and make sure that your your new sears are installed correctly.

Dumb question, but are you sure the bolt is locked closed? Trigger doesn't work if it isn't fully locked down. Then check that all the springs and pins are in the proper place in the trigger assembly. Did you adjust your trigger pull/length at all in the upgrades?

I know the bolt is locking back b/c when I have to take it apart again it ends up firing when I remove the trigger assembly.

I also tried to adjust the trigger pull but I am not 100% sure if I am doing that correctly.

I'd have to actually mess with it to see what going on. Where do you live? I could look at it and maybe fix it.

That would be the best thing to do.
