I think it looks cool, I personally like the way it feels. It is the first sniper platform I have considered buying for myself. You should definitely get a Magpul stock, that would look kick a$$.

Also from all the tests I have seen, and personal experience the 6.01 tight bore barrel should give it a tighter bb groupings, and a little better range.

I checked out the Echo1 ASR, and it certainly looks like the bolt will flip over to the left-hand side if you disassemble and reinstall the handle.

It's side specific unfortunately. I brought mine to ThunderStrike today and it performed admirably. I was engaging effectively at around 60+ yards. I've got the performance upgrade in, as well as a 6.01 mm tightbore. Using .4's it's very accurate (for 180$)

Only complaint I have is that when I tripped and slammed up on a tree, the stock snapped at the point where the buffer tube attaches to the gun. I either need to replace the lower reciever or find a way to reattach it to my gun.

Just a quick question: If I sand it and JB weld the parts together, will that hold? I've never worked with the stuff before and was wondering how well it works with plastic... Thanks!

Well this gun isn't so bad as a secondary. It chrono'd a little over 500. Played with .25 & .40 ammo. .40s fell a little short of where I wanted them, the .25s were a bit better. Maybe I'll try some .28s in the future. Wasn't shocked at the performance, mine held up pretty well through all the low crawling, diving, and running. It's a $110 sniper rifle that shoots better than most at twice it's price. Not too shabby.

Not the finished product, still need to find a better stock for it. I really don't plan on investing too much else in it. A better stock would help with keeping it stable on the bolt cycle. I think I'll concentrate my efforts on an HPA for my M700

Sorry, mine didn't have any glue, so I just unscrewed it with my hands.

At OP Thunderstrike my stock snapped off (from a bad fall), but other than that the rifle performed great! The 6.01 made a big difference from the stock barrel, and it chronoed in at 530 fps.

I'm seriously thinking of upgrading my ASR stock, and m4 style Pistol grip to the magpul PRS Stock and the magpul M4/m16 style pistol grip.

I may be a little late to the party but by 2 cents. One word of caution about the ASR is how it is designed (mine at least). There is a little notch where the outer barrel extends into the trigger area which allows a slight twist of the outer barrel to happen when fully assembled. If my barrel is twisted off center, it causes my bb's flight pattern to vary enough that I will miss my target around 200ft. It is not that big of deal to move the outer barrel the few millimeters back to center but it does get annoying after awhile.
