APS M40a3 decent and upgradable?

Right now I have a CA M24 but I'm having trouble finding replacement mags for it. So I have an APS M40a3 I was going to sell (still new in box). Is this bolt action gun any good? Anyone out there use it? I'm trying to find upgrade parts for it since it shoots roughly 380 fps (according to other on line stores). ANY info on this gun will be greatly appreciated (Good or bad). I bought a bundle deal and it came with 8 guns all new. So as I'm still looking for my M24 mags I would upgrade the M40a3 while I'm waiting for mags to come in. So should I add this gun to my collection?
