Where to find good airsoft sniper rifles online?

Postby mattb348 » Mon Jan 18, 2010 7:45 am

I am kinda new to airsoft I guess. I have owned a few of the cheaper guns, but I was curious as to where I can find some high end airsoft sniper rifles for sale (a good website, since I don't live anywhere near any good airsoft shops whatsoever). So with that being said, in your guys' oppinion, what are some of the best websites for buying airsoft guns? I don't necessarily need the cheapest prices, but would rather have a combination of good customer service and half way decent price tags.

I have also had some fairly bad experiences with some of the airsoft websites, so I would like to hear what you guys recommend. Also, would the UTG L96 be a decent choice for an airsoft sniper rifle? I really like the way they look, and I heard that UTG is a pretty good manufacture (at least for sniper rifles).

If your new to airsoft, I suggest waiting awile.
Because snipers are alot of hassle for a begenner, atleast from my experiences.

Get a High end AEG at Evike or something.

But if your really set on getting a sniper go to Evike, or Airsoft outlet NW and order from them.

As far as I know, they aren't found, they are built.

I agree with Matt, out of the box they are a glorified springer. If that's the Path you take out of the three of Spring, Gas, Electric. Upgrade it tweak it to that fear machine you want. Just be prepared for the price to have such a device of mass fear.

just like thatONEguy said if your just starting don't mess with sniper rifles. In airsoft sniper rifles really are not as helpful as in real combat just because in real combat sniper rifles have more power, distance, and accuracy while in airsoft you could just as easily get an AEG rifle with the same FPS as a sniper rifle and put a scope on it. Now you have the best of both worlds, assault rifle and marksman. That's just my personal opinion though. But if you are hell-bent on getting a sniper rifle I suggest looking at airsoftgi.com they have some decent ones for a newby such as yourself to get started.

borrow a sniper for a game or too. if you find your self sitting in one spot and picking off noobs than sniping is for you. if you find yourself moving around and picking off people at varied distances then get an AEG.

You forgot one.

If you find yourself sitting in a bush, itchy, bored, and hating every minute of it, then snipers are most definitely not for you.
