ammo weight

So i recently upgraded a basic sniper rifle and it is now shooting about 440 with .25 gram bbs. but the wind is still taking my shots quite a bit. what should be about the correct weight for me?

Try .3 gram BBs. If those don't work, and at the cost of some range, a .43 will fly better than anything.

I use .43's in my rifle. Straight and true flyers. However, not all rifles like .43's. Try .3's, .36's, .40's, and .43's. You need to find what works best for your particular rifle.

jester- what does your rifle shoot? i was the guy at silverton skirm with same rifle, maybe different parts, but without a scoup mounted.

did you get a tightbore barrel on yours?

-Precision Shot Industries 510mm 6.02 stainless steel barrel
-Firefly soft hop up bucking
-Element M145 spring
-Laylax PSS10 dampening cylinder head
-100+ hours of tinkering

Final cost is right around $300 last time I added it up. That includes base gun, scope, bipod, upgrades.

Sears and piston are both fine after hundreds of rounds at this setup. I think when I jump another level in spring, that's when the sears and piston will start to go.

Also, to the OP, my hop up is maxed out with .43's.
