Help me decide

Postby Battlemechanic » Mon Feb 04, 2013 5:09 pm

Hey guys I am trying to get into gbbr's and i was wondering whats my best option:

G&P woc challenge kit magpull addition or KWA lm4 PTR magpull addition or king arms M4's

I do have technical back round and I am more than capable working on them and upgrading.

I am basically looking for the best for the lowest price.

G&P WOC kit aren't bad, I finished mine with zero knowledge on the AR platform, you can see my post on the product review.
I think WE is good even their guns are not handsome compare to other brands, but their magazines are really reliable. KWA is a little expensive, but I have never play with one myself so i can't say its good or not.

If you want something that performs and is reliable out of the box the LM4 is the better choice. The WOC kit is going to require a lot of internal replacements as everything is pot metal. Standard WOCs aren't bad at all though the WOC challenge kits and the WOC-X kits are something to stay away from unless you want to change everything out. Also DO NOT buy the King Arms GBBR, they're horrible.

I would definitely go with the KWA LM4 because its ready to go right out of the box and its not a gas hog like some other GBBRs that I know of. And, hey, you can't go wrong with a KWA.
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.

5ku steel parts are quite cheap for the woc, buy them before putting the gun together.
Its still a pita to put the woc or wox together for many people, but still it will be cheaper (including the 5ku steel parts) for people who has the time and like to go cheap.
Evike has the best price on those GnP mags, $40 plus 20% discount :D
