serpa mag pouch system?

Postby CCCman » Sun May 16, 2010 9:35 pm

Hi, please don't steal my idea, but i just had a crazy idea of using the serpa system on mag pouches. so, you make a mold of the mag using plastic or carbon fiber then you would use the mag's mag release and integrate it into the serpa button. how does this sound?

well, on a pouch you have to open the flap, creating noise from the velcro, and if u have magpuls u dont have noise but the mags are held in place by an elastic strap so the mags have a chance of fallin out. WHile if u use serpa on it, its silent and fast to draw.

Actually, it sounds more like this, but on a vest. I don't like the idea; a fastmag would be easier, and have plenty of retention.

Yea, but be prepared to pay out the a$$ for them.
Google "Raven holsters", it's the kydex mag systems that the guys from Magpul Dynamics use.
