Combat Boots / School shoe recommendation

As far as footwear for school goes, I would find boots to be a bit clunky. Personally, I would go for athletic training shoes. They're really comfy. They run about $40-50.
I'm a "fair weather" airsofter. I only play in the pouring rain, freezing cold, or broiling heat.

But didn't you start this thread asking for recommendations on what boots to buy? I'm confused.

I did indeed, I said that the SFB's could work but sorta ran into a different thought explaining that nobody cared if I wear boots, my apologies for being confusing :)
Thanks for all the help guys, I've pretty much decided.
