Single comm headset I got it from a ranger, and eBay is hard to get but I have a icom for 70 bucks in the works... And the icoms on bay are mostly from china...

After talking to very helpful AONW staff I will actually be rewiring a PTT and lets hop it works... and I have an Icom in the works the only thing is, my dad is worried about the license you need.

Did you also get the programming software and cable? Do you know what frequency this Icom runs on? Do you know what band? Do you have a programming scheme set up for it so that you can talk to others? Or did you just type in Icom into ebay and bid on the first thing that looked like a radio?
For anyone out there who is looking at getting Icom (or other professional grade radios) they are an investment. There are many things you need to look at when considering using them. There is a reason they are so sexpensive and aren't wide spread.
