Bitter end. or very big mouth guard. I got a shot in the tooth but luckily i had a mouthguard... i didnt like getting hit in the face and got those ugly red spots, so i got a bitter end. without doubt the bes mask i have ever had

I picked up a Wilson dual layer from Walmart for like $3 after Cosmos from PSC showed me his. It forms to your teeth after boiling and if done right doesn't make it too tough to talk after getting used to it. I course the one time I didn't wear it I was admining I didn't think I needed it and BLAM! Tooth shot up. Def get some form of protection, it's not worth the cost and loss of teeth not to.

yeah, i use my football mouth guard, works perfect, you boil it and mold it to your teeth, submerge it in cold water, and clip off the attachment string, you need to get the dual layer ones though to get both top and bottom teeth protection, and you can still talk fairly well for having rubber molded around your teeth

Boil water, dip the guard in for 10 seconds, insert in mouth for 30 seconds, rinse with cold water and voila, custom fit mouth guard. However, when you smile, a little swoosh appears...but at least I can talk just fine.

I'm sure it does about the same thing, and it's half the price. Andy: a.k.a.- Hard Drive wears the iron face and he loves it. I've been to two separate games where players have had teeth shot out. Furthermore, at our first big game- Op Mad Dog- Andy and I spoke to someone with, I do believe, DRAT. All three of us wore the sansei masks, and he was telling us the story of how he lost a tooth or two. It cost him upwards of six hundred dollars to fix. And I exclaimed, "That's like two A.E.G.'s!"

Up at summer slaughter I was wearing a mouth guard for something of 20 minutes and that just happened to be within that 20 minutes I got shot in the nose (Which the mouth guard was no use again) and the mouth, which the mouth guard fully protected. I was wearing the one that forms to your teeth and is commonly used in sports.

I made this out of 0.0135 stainless steel mesh, 22 strands / inch after getting shot in the face one day.

It stops a 550 fps point blank, hangs from the glasses and doesn't interfere with vision. The stainless mesh you can get on amazon cheap, it goes through the sewing machine no problem.
