Best camo for all Oregon environments?

Discussion of load-bearing equipment, tactical gear, holsters, BDUs, and other gear related to Airsoft.

Also, beyond camouflage, if you are moving like a Dirongian Snow Mule in the brush and making noise and moving jerky and unnaturally, that will be worse for your ability to blend or remain undetected than what camouflage you wear. Kendodude usually wears a leather jacket and some crazy camouflage from the Phillippines, and he does just fine getting to within range of his 80fps Tokyo Marui gun from the stone ages.

And on top of that, at the ranges of airsoft, movement gives you away. The oil in skin gives you away. The giant solid black weapon gives you away. The jingles from too much gear gives you away.

If you want just one uniform to get for everyone, Multicam is probably your best bet, followed by MARPAT. Reasoning being that those two are the most popular, so they have the best resale value, are the cheapest (largest supply available), allow you to play at the most games (stricter games have uniform or gear requirements) and generally work good enough or else so many people wouldn't use them.

So much truth, Dan.

I'm going to have to say SOLID BLACK.

But in all seriousness, I'd say your best budget pattern for the temperate PacNW is going to be M81 Woodland and not moving. Go find a nice, dark, soft pair of woodies that fit well, paint your weapon and face to match, and get rid of the orange tip:)

But if you do end up getting a nicer pattern (MC, PenCott, even MARPAT) don't screw it up by getting any black gear or leaving your gun black. I can't tell you how easily blacks sticks out 99% of the time.

My patterns: OD, Woodland, TAZ 83, Tan, Charcoal/Black (for Indoor). I've accrued it over time, as said before.

MARPAT or Multicam(OCP) If you're looking for US camo.

Its the just the best thats out there right now for camo in use by the US. I use both. I used to wear MARPAT to every game, but im starting to wear my multicam more. Purely for fashion though. Looks better with gear ha.

But, like McNair was saying, you slowly get it over time. I currently have a full set of M81s, MARPAT, Multicam, and even ACU's. I dont know WHY I have ACU's, but for some god awful reason I do.

Like everyone already said,
US patterns= M81, OCP, MARPAT and sometimes TS.
European= the best pattern that has been in use since the '60s and only recently replaced , British DPM.
Also Irish DPM works well , followed by German Fleck , SS-Platanenmuster and Liebermuster.
Lot's of European patterns can also work well in the PNW.
