multicam is the new Noob pattern. EVERYONE and their mother is wearing multicam. So you will stand apart from the MARPAT, but you will be stand with about 200 other people...[/quote]

Why must noobs ruin such good things??

Wow. This stinks. I was really set on Marpat but i dont want to come across as some COD junky. I may be new to AP, but i have been airsofting since I was in 6th grade (yes I still had walmart shot guns then but i had that while all my friends had JGs or Big 5 battery guns so i had to learn to be sneaky and accuarte with my shots)

So I think I will be getting MARPAT after all then. It may not go 100 percent with my tan MK17 but, hell if it really bugs a future team that I joing I should be able to easily trade it for someone KWA m4.

-I was planning on taking a trip down to AONW soon, do you guys know if it would be cheaper to buy MARPAT there or at Andy's?-

Mark Watson3 wrote:Thanks for your help guys. After reading what is on here I have some general thoughts and questions.

1) Im going to buy multicam because of its adaptability and It will allow me to stand apart from all the people who Have Marpat (nothing against MARPAT, i just like to be a little bit original)

2) does anyone know if i can buy multicam at 'andy and backs' or another army suplus store along wiht a MICH 2000

3) I really am against OD green and 110 percent against getting moon camo (ACU) to copy a ranger. I only like that ACU looks intimidating but hate the fact it makes people appear to be like Ghosts in a forest (not the scary invisible ghosts but the 'im over hear!!" casper ghosts) -end rant

4)Why would i change my SCAR out for an FAL? Maybe in the real world but for airsoft the SCAR litterally is a perfect fit for me. Plus I like how modern it feels. If i if works, why change it?

Thanks for all your help again guys. Im really new to shopping for camo, i still have to research what all the different sizes mean (ex. "LLR') but i can do that on my own.

1. No one is going to assume your a COD junky because your wearing MARPAT. They'll assume it if you run around duel wielding and trying to call in tactical nukes.

2. Airsoft Outlet will be a better bet for a bucket and cammies than Andy and Bax. Outlet is made with 20% more win.

3. Like Nasty said, rangers are using MC now, ACU is slowly working its way out of the army.

4. Dan is just bleeding with you.
