Then what exactly is a "good sniping rig" if not a chest rig/armor combo? The things I listed are things a contractor I know had for his kit.. Now it's something that I didn't bother listing due to price (Crye Chassis).

"Cotton kills" in cold weather. If he's just wearing a T-shirt under his armor, then assumedly he's playing when it's warm and dry out.

Nomex is specifically made to be fire resistant. Under armour is banned from wear in uniform because if you wear an arcrylic like underarmour, and you catch on fire, you'll have beautiful plastic skin. True story.
