The MMMB system

Discussion of load-bearing equipment, tactical gear, holsters, BDUs, and other gear related to Airsoft.

Is any of this remotely practical? In a skirm, you either die enough to have time waiting in spawn to reload or you aren't using THAT much ammo (sneaking is a form of ammo preservation). In most ops you have a mag limit, anyway. Basically, what's the point?

And if there's no point, damn fine work, both of you!

My STABO set up is the same as LRRPs/ RECONNERS / RANGERS and SOG guys used during the Vietnam War , long patrols in the jungle without resupply and a chance of getting into a fight while heavily outnumbered meant you had to carry a lot more ammo than a line grunt.

Herp derp, that would be my super bad.

I logged in on April first and saw it. Thought it was silly enough to be an April Fools post.

Originally Darius was an April Fool's joke, but due to a clerical error it happened 3 days late, so they actually made one.

I would like to see all Saw pouches, to support or man a support weapon. That would be epic, but man so much weight.

I was working with what pouches I had. Though, I might have enough saw pouches laying around...

Also, for those that think this is for realz, lul. It's nothing more than a booze fueled idea that I wanted to make a reality. I wouldn't run such a setup.

Although....

Nah. I'd need the world's largest dump pouch. Or just a duffel bag.

With 5+ SAW's on the team, we might need someone set up to carry reloads for our SAWs.

During the War in Vietnam at in 1968 , LRRP teams from 11th ACR used 2 Quart Canteen covers to carry Ammo belts for the M60s when they took them along , the Pig gunner would carry around 700 rounds in the covers and other members of the team could carry around 200 more rounds.
This gave the LRRP team anywhere from 1800 to 2000 rounds for the Pig.
So one guy being the ammo mule for a SAW is quite possible.
