mouth protection

Postby pappyjump » Fri Sep 03, 2010 2:40 pm

so here is the problem
i recently got my tooth shot out at a local game and now im pretty scared of it happening again. I DO NOT want to wear a paintball mask of any kind but i also do not want to wear a mouthpiece because of my ability to talk being impaired. Does anyone know of a kind of mouthguard or mesh mask that i can wear that will protect my face?
And if you have, could you give me any imput on the quality of said mask?

Thanks- ryan

Ash/most of SOTA roll with mouth guards that doesn't impede their speech. Forgot the brand of them, but they seem to be made of win.

This is what I use. Cheap, versatile and mil-sim friendly. It can get a bit hot though so I myself have been planning on getting one of those masks for the summer months.

i just got a mask type cover called a Iron Face. I got it at AONW for like $12. Its a tough plastic and kinda like the lower half of a mask. it stays tight to your face though and doesnt prevent you from aiming like some of the other masks.
heres the link

http://www.customguards.com/ we use the gladiator pro model I know a few members on APST use them too. They are really nice, and as Jew said we can talk pretty clearly with them in.

Yeah I just ordered a balaclava, knee pads, elbow pads and a new battery from AGI. Now I have the gas mask covering my face and the balaclava covering anything else. :)
