Greetings.
Been playing off/on with airsoft for a few years -mostly as a way to engage and have fun with my kids and to develop my shooting skills. I actually came to it by way of real steel shooting sports - I shoot IDPA at a local club here on the eastside of Seattle and saw airsoft as a great way to get some new ideas into my training.
I used to play video games when I was in my 20s, and I'll still do it some now, but I find the real thing more fun. Running in the woods, managing reloads and actually putting BBs on a target is a lot more fun in my book.
We have access to 10 acres and have been running informal skirmishes for the past year more seriously. My boys are 15, 10 and 6. All play and its a great way to bond, teach them skills and hone their gun safety awareness.
I'm a designer and a photographer and I spend a lot of time in the outdoors biking/hiking/backpacking and honing my survival skills as a scout leader and all round agent provocateur.
I'm just starting to branch out and participate in the broader community - we're going to be coming to several big events this year (at least me and my oldest) so watch for us.
I've got a pretty good load out and I'm the proud owner of a new KWA SR10.
I go by Dethrok! - so if you see me flailing about at an op near you, say hi.
