Hey, I m a new player to Airsoft but played paintball some time ago. Back in the day,(1990) I played paintball with several Oregon teams and took place in tournaments at Splat action. I also managed Advantage Paintball Supply in Aloha with Mark Roberts. Now I have a couple of sons that are interested in getting into Airsoft. The first thing I told them was that I was going to need to get myself educated before I would allow this to happen. I have spent several hrs. at Airsoft Outlet and the indoor facility in Hillsboro( Please forgive me for not remembering the name.) learning form the vast knowledge that the staff has on this.
I told my sons that quality gear is the key to even having an enjoyable experience in this sport. And not to take it as a joke either. This is a serious sport that demands respect due to the dangerous nature and the public's views.
I have several gear questions that I will research and maybe post about in the correct areas.
Thanks for the great resource here in these forums.
I cant wait to meet you on the field.
