that even tho i was one of these people at one point or another,i belive there should be a new section in the forum index about people asking about what gun they should buy...i havent been a member of AP very long but i have noticed that there are no sections about this sort of thing and just about every time i am on i see a post about "what gun should i buy". and frankly it is quite annoying. ive seen that on multiple forums that they have done somthing like this...please do this...
You live, You die, Then there is AIRSOFT!!!!

No it shouldnt. We have all asked the question of which gun should i buy, but people need to study the gun. Youtube, websites, and even here have plenty of info on replicas new and old.

The stickies aren't always kept up to date, and they don't answer questions comparing specific models. One user might have experience with a specific platform they could share. However, one could also argue that these types of posts should appear in the appropriate forum, AEGs, Shotguns, Long Rifles, etc. That's what those forums are for, gear discussion. Should I get this AEG, or that AEG? That's Gear Discussion.

How would it be any less annoying if it were on a separate forum? The little red flag will still be there to show you there's new posts in that forum. They'll still show in "posts since your last visit."

Might be something to consider later on, but generally those types of discussions should actually happen in the categories already on the forum like AEGs/Electrics, Bolt Action, Shotguns and Launchers, etc. When I have a question about a specific product, I post it in one of those categories.

+1

A website dedicated to reviewing items will probably have a very good idea of what to look for.
