Online Community for Airsoft on Oahu?

Postby Groz » Thu Feb 03, 2011 3:30 am

Hello All,

I was wondering if there was a specific online community for airsoft on Oahu or even Hawaii in general? It seems that most of us flock to other West Coast-based airsoft websites (this one, SoCal Airsoft, etc.) because there isn't an active community there (or at least that I can find).

If there isn't one, would anyone be interested in helping to form one?

Thanks,

Groz

P.S. Mods, if this kind of thing is not allowed, please let me know via PM or email. I read the rules and am not trying to be a pain. - Groz

Start one here. It's Airsoft Pacific, after all ;)

I'm sure some folks here could use a vacation.

I actually hail from Southern California, but am stationed in Hawaii (darn, right?).

I was considering trying to build a community here, as Hawaii is about as "Pacific" as it gets, but the site is mostly dedicated to the Northwest (homepage title is a dead give-away  ).

EDIT: Ka-Bar, I will be sure to let you know of the next big op I hear about.

Oahu has two communities I think. If you go towards the base and inland, there are a lot of military types who play (well not a LOT) and then if you play with the Filipinos and locals who play over near the airport. They're pretty friendly.

Yeah, I've seen AirsoftHawaii. Other than the post about the night games @ Hawaii All-Star, everything looks pretty stale.
