Mica (M.altman, admin of Tacoma airsoft forums) and I are considering hosting a “How to disassemble a gearbox class.” It will be hosted in Puyallup (Washington,
) at Mica's house (a few miles south of the 31st Ave SW exit of 512.
We will be expecting every participant to be able to take down their AEG to the gearbox level; no knowledge of the gearbox is necessary. This class is intended for those who would like to learn how to open the gearbox, learn about the parts inside (what they are and what they do) and how to put it all back together correctly. Many of the things we will be showing are tuff to find and hard to describe in words or in videos. We will be showing a few tricks of the trade too.
The date of this class has been decided, it will be held on November 12 at Noon and will be hosted by Mica and I along with a few others. It will be hosted at Mica's house in Puyallup; the exact address will be PMed to the participants 2-3 days before the class date. There will be a required tool list along with an official Roster and sign-up thread and subjects to be covered posted on 10/16 (this coming Sunday).
We will be asking everyone to either pay $5 or bring a food dish to share.
We are looking for at least a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 participants.
