Myrick is a douche, he's stolen/not paid back many times in this community. Let it be known that he's a total flake.

If at all possible, deal with it yourself. But, seeing that he has done this sort of thing in the past, file a police report and go all the way through with it. If you don't someone else (will) get scammed and he will continue to do so as long as he isn't pursued through legal action. Most criminals don't turn a new leaf till then, most "get off" from the act, so do everyone a favor, it's your right and duty as an American.

(EDIT) Ok, that last bit sounded awful  but if a thief is among us, not just the AP community, everyone deserves to know

I think we need to make a more accessible AP Wall of Shame and have it prominently featured in the Events, AEG, and Sales sections.

I was just thinking the same thing. To me airsoft is almost all about honesty. This goes against every thing.

Why isn’t their group that looks into these things to figure out what’s what so that the public will know?

I totally agree with a lot of the guys, do not let others use your stuff unless they have the money to replace it if something happens or if you have the money to do the same.

Question: Why didn’t a 20 in the first place not be able to afford a gun!

it is pretty discouraging to hear about stuff like this, since exactly as sasquatch said, airsoft as a whole is based off of honesty.

This game is hugely based on a honor system, its disappointing to see this happen because if we can't trust each other, how can we even play? :?

i don't mind loaning stuff out, but i only loan to people i know and trust or people i can locate. never to someone who is anonymous that i cant find.

myrick is a shitbird. as far as i know hes been ousted off of every team that hes ever been on for shit like this.

Why allow him to continue to play in this community? I think just about all of us knows what he looks like. You see him at a game, RUN HIM OUT... if the organizer's don't do it, then have everyone else leave the game... not fun playing and nobody else is there.

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

I've only loaned stuff to people that I really trust, and it's really sad to hear about people who betray this trust. This type of stuff hurts the community as a whole, and betraying people who are willing to temporarily loan you stuff is a great way to get into some legal trouble.

It's because of dumb stuff like this that I only do my buying/selling in person for money up front. It's just smarter that way. That is unless you just can't do that because of geographical locations.

As I like to say... that guy's a feckless moron. :)

I would just like to let every one know that Chris Myrick has 3 arrest warrants in washington county for theft related crimes. (Hopefull he's dealing with the jail system.)

Next your going to say "How do you know this?" or "This is hear say"

I was part of the group who filed charges, He'll lift your gear and your wallet.

As for you M249, I sent you a PM. You should call me, I do know something about it - and I think I can track it down.

I know he's reading this. He has a list a mile long of shit he needs to return to people or give cash for NEW not USED replacements.

He text'd me after I posted; so here I am now, giving you a current number to reach him at....

(503)-894-1871

Mini, Vidar, and I drove down to his parent's house (where he lives in the basement) and tried to talk to him. His mother wouldn't even invite us in and said he wasn't home.

We know she's lying so lets all take the time to call and let him know what all he owes every one.

This is not information to be used to harass or multi-dial, this is for people who have lost his number do to the fact it keeps changing or he's dodging phone calls.
