I have to go with 'real caps'. 'ALL CAPS' looks like you're either yelling or a retard, and 'no caps' means that you either think you're a poet or are too cheap to replace your keyboard after your cat peed on it. Real Caps for the win!

I don't. I play video games with friends. I'm just saying that BSing shouldn't be on the airsoft field. It can happen anywhere.

What you forget is that a lot of us have been doing this for a long time. We've made a lot of friends in this community. We also lead busy lives with jobs, bills, rent, relationships, other hobbies, etc... we don't have time to go "BS at the mall."

The games are sometimes the only time we see these people and get the chance to hang out, so we tend to sit around and bullshit.
If you don't like how shit is run, as I've said many times before, run it yourself.

Damn, I wish I had been in Spectre's unit. Training so you can be comfy? Hell every training exercise I was in we wore our full battle rattle. I'm not sure how you can call it training if you're in no way actually preparing for that eventuality.

True. Didn't really give that thought. And I know I can't run a game.

This is true... I like BSing at games, I like to shake hands or ...hug with folks i havent seen in a while, I love hearing about their lives and how they are doing, However this is also why i cherish the time spent carpooling and time at the ever popular Dairy Queen. That is the time to BS, that and campouts!

I mean that for the very basics. Such as learning to shoot a pistol or the rifle. We were just in our "relaxed uniform." It was our boat shirt and BDU pants. Any time that we prepared for boardings we'd wear our full gear.

Right now, I'm with a bunch of other broke college students and we all have dark clothes. That's enough for now. I'd rather see the money go towards saving for a good quality AEG like ICS or G&G vs buying a JG or Galaxy. Let alone extra mags or ammo to feed our weapons.

I like military sims when there is squad leaders and commands. Feels more real and more fun.

Holy Necro-post Batman!

Holy necropost, except that he actually added to the conversation.

I think they should add an "UZI" option to what makes realistic mil-simz

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

I think it was KA-Bar that pointed out that Ollie wouldn't be able to join in the games because of the fact that he isn't 18 yet, and some of you agreed with that now the the question I pose to the community would people like Carrie, Jenna, Pixie be able to join in a Mil-sim event or would we have to stand by in a support roles such as admin, nurse, or the such???

I don't agree on either of those. I think both can play. If people are too picky, we can paint wrinkles on Ollie's face and put a sock in a girl's pants and call it good.

I guess they would have to hold down support roles. Like medic, where they do the same job as the infantry guys, but have to carry a 50 pound aid bag. Or MP, where they do basically the same job as the infantry guys, but get crew-served weapons and do all the EPW handling. Or interpreter, where they do the same job as the infantry but have to translate for the locals (which means getting well within smell range).

On a serious note, though, I have no issue with females doing infantry jobs. As long as you meet the minimum physical, mental, and moral standards for the job, then do your thing. I see no reason to limit getting shot at to just males. If you are willing to put it on the line, then welcome to the team. If you can't make the minimums, though, then you have no business out forward regardless of gender.

On a side note: Does anyone on the forums actually take KA-BAR's posts seriously? That guy couldn't find his a$$ with both hands, a GPS, and a set of step-by-step instructional videos.
