I have HUTUs installed in all my guns.

That video brings back good memories. I've played a night game in Japan where all 50 players had tracer units. Seeing tracer BBs flying all over the place was a BLAST! It really adds to the pucker factor when you can see BBs zipping just inches from your head.

I think tracer units that attached to the end of your barrel should be a requirement for all night games. Even if you don't use tracer BBs. The muzzle flash that they create as a BB passes through them really add to the realism. Unfortunately I don't get to use them as often as I would like to.

I have 2 TM tracer units. One old and the new version. The new one is a vast improvement over the old one as far as the casing goes. It's all metal, much smaller and has a nice on - off switch.

I'll post pictures later.

Maybe we should do a community buyin?

It would make hosting night games much cooler. I can now also get red tracer ammo. Red vs green!!!!

What's your price for a tracer unit? I've been shopping around for one. It's on my list of things to get.

between $35 and $40 if we did a community buy for the jg tracer units

I will think through this process and see about hosting a community order.

the JG tracer units (same one echo 1 rebrands) are a cheap solution and work very nicely. I've sold about 15 - 20 of them and never had one go bad.

I think games with everyone having one would be fun.

An advantage of using a TU at night is that you can actually see where your BB's are going. Without a TU, the BB's just vanish into the void.

I'll usually load 15 red tracer BB's into the mag first, then fill with green BB's. That way, I know when I'm coming to the end of a mag.

Some people already do that except with plain black and white bbs.

Also I'll want in on the community order. I got NV need tracers!
