6mm paintballs - are you kidding me?

Discuss anything and everything here that's Airsoft related.

The only thing I would ever use these in, is a claymore mine.

Oh goodness no. Those are more for amusement purposes; I don't even know if "game face" meant to sell them for real, or just did it to mess with people.

(I would love to see a test where they run 1000 rounds of G&G Bio's through an AEG, then 1000 rounds of "marking" BB's and compare negative effects)

1,000 rnds? Seriously, it only takes about 20 rnds to see the negative effects. Then open your weapon and have fun cleaning. ;)

A hyperbole was used to illustrate an idea...

But still, I'd like to see that come from the retailers who sell the BB's.

Do you trust a retailer over someone who actually tried using them in the field?

It would be nice to see them eat their own words. Going from "These are a way to make airsoft like paintball" to "these balls of chalk destroy guns".

I dunno. Just thinking out loud.

If you have pictures of the fouled parts that would be interesting to see...

I trust politicians, advertising executives, door to door salesmen and lawyers only.

Unless you are one of these you must be lying.

Once they're too old to be tricked with candy you've really got to come up with something else. "Wanna see my gun?" "Wow! It's huge!"
I'm a "fair weather" airsofter. I only play in the pouring rain, freezing cold, or broiling heat.

Dude, there is no way airsoft is ever going to be on ESPN anything. It's military simulation (for the most part). It's not mainstream. Mainstream sucks. Mainstream is... well... boring. Airsoft is unique, and it cannot be expressed in a media format, no matter how raw the coverage.

Plus, we don't want overzealous liberals to see what we do in our spare time.

I think he was joking. They had to COMPLETELY de-militarize paintball to make it safe for mainstream media. If Airsoft is kept true to mil-sim, it'll never be televised like a sport. And if it were, it would not be the same. Orange flashhiders, giant masks. Speedball.

Though I still find myself thoroughly entertained by peoples youtube videos..
I think I like being non-mainstream. Makes me feel all special inside ;)
