Officers aren't trained to shoot extremities or the weapon out of someone's hand. You'd have to be an exceptional marksman to shoot a moving extremity even at close range. And for every bullet you send downrange that misses, you're held accountable for what or who it hits. Contrary to media and public belief - officers aren't that good of a shot. They are trained to shoot center mass. Less likelyhood of missing.

I really don't expect any legislative fallout from this. There's been dozens of other similar incidents. I've even been involved with a few incidents finding members of this forum running around in public with airsoft replicas. They were smart and followed commands

We just owe it to ourselves as a community to not let stupid people do stupid things in public with airsoft replicas. Protect our hobby ---- speak up if you see someone doing something idiotic in public with airsoft replicas. You may even save their life before the cops show up.

Snipers and SWAT are wonderful and can do some pretty amazing things, if they are present. It takes time to get them in place, and time you do not have in an active shooter situation. Coloumbine was a prime example of what happens when you wait for SWAT assets to get into place. A bunch of innocent kids get killed.... Kid who got popped, got what he richly and justly deserved. Darwin's theory in action.......The gene pool is cleaner now.

I agree with boogeyman. If a cop tells you to put down the gun DO IT.

The first thing a cop says if he see's a gun in a person hand it to put it down. This is your first warning where the cop doesn't shoot you at all. This should give the person enough time to put down the gun and step away. If the person refuse's the cop becomes nervous, and this is where the shooting starts

It's a known fact that Aussie's hate reading. They'd much rather drink beer and put shrimp on a Barbie. Which I never really got. Why would you put shellfish on a doll?

Because it makes them more realistic and tasty.

Not that I eat barbies.

Or know of anybody who does.

And no, I'm not talking about that type of eating.

I want some shrimp.

IMO, some kids my age that I talk to seem to be getting stupider and stupider. Ban airsoft sales to parents of anybody my age and under, and sue all sporting good stores for selling those cheap replicas. And/Or make us take tests for licenses to own the right to operate and own replica fire arms. Too many of us minors are treating these stupid things as "toys" when we have situations like this happening probably every month. When rules are broken, revoke the license for a year or something like that. And, make us take tests involving what to do when an officer asks you to do something, and make us brush up our common sense every month through some sort of system. Failure to follow up revokes your license/permit.

And when I say they're getting stupider and stupider, they smoke, drink, punch each other and snort shit for "fun".

Lets just keep it simple hamster...how about parents just kick the a$$ of kids who act in an inappropriate manner, like they used to do.

Never works, because I seen it happen.

And the more complicated stuff is, the better in my opinion! Some parents these days are too careless, and hippies disapprove of this "child abuse", which gives a negative effect on the child's life causing them to use drugs and self inflicting pain to deal with their outcries believing nobody is listening to them.

Tl;dr child abuse doesnt work anymore, need moar alternatives...

F**king hippies.

Oh......

I must of skip your post Junto sorry about that. I try to read all the post before I start to post. So that I don't make mistakes like this one.

Also Jewish Ninja I don't get it either, but if you take the last three letter out of barbeque we get Barbe(I just figured that out ). So barbie is just slang for barbeque. The same way we say Chevy instead of Chevrolet.

It is legal to assault children, because they're not people. Corporations, on the other hand, are people.
